MOUNTAIN BIKING DAGGETT COUNTY, UTAH

We often receive soliciting email to the team from a variety of sources.  Most of the time, these are not worthy of sharing with the team for obvious reasons.

However, we recently received an email from Karen Perry, the Daggett County Commissioner, with some information regarding Mountain Biking in Daggett County, Utah.  We thought we would share it with everyone.  After all, it is always nice to have more places to ride, especially if you were not already aware of this area (see her email below)!

Below is additional information regarding the area including basic maps, links, and general information.  I hope this will help you plan your next exploration/adventure!

Bike enthusiasts,

I would like to personally invite your Bike Club to come and explore Daggett County.  I have attached a map of our current mountain bike trails that might be of interest to you.  However, we also have hundreds of miles of double track that will provide awesome enjoyment for the beginner to advanced rider, through some of the most breathtaking back county in Utah.

We are currently working with IMBA, Public Land Solutions, Utah Trails and the Forest Service to develop around 500 miles of single track throughout our county, but this project will take years.  I believe we already have much to offer the mountain biking community and would love to show you our area.

Please visit our county website at:  www.daggettcounty.org and our chamber website at:  www.flaminggorgecountry.com. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me by email or phone (435)784-3218 x133.
