Come and find out for yourself what makes the tough-man of the professional peleton Jens Voigt grimace in pain. August 24th at 7 am, an unorganized, ride at your own risk group is leaving The Hyatt at Canyons Resort and riding Empire pass. If you are not racing the State Championship hill climb, or the Draper Downhill race, come and join us on Empire Pass. Prizes may be given out!
The route will most likely look something like this (click on the map below for more details). There is some construction around Francis so we may need to re-route. We plan on making a stop at Slim & Knobby's Bike shop in Heber to refuel before the climb.
The ride will begin at 7am on Saturday, August 24, 2013. We are meeting at the Hyatt Escala Lodge in Park City, Utah. (Click on the image below for directions):
To reiterate, this is a "ride at your own risk, unsanctioned group ride". Come prepared to support your own nutritional needs, and mechanical details. Helmets are required. All are welcome to join! We hope to see you on Saturday morning at 7am!!
Make sure to thank DNA Cycling & Slim & Knobby's Bike Shop for making this happen; your legs probably won't be all that thankful at the end of the climb, but your bound to have a great time with fantastic people. Like Jens Voigt is known to say, "SHUT UP LEGS"!
